The UVF11A Sterilizer Water Filter is a complete add-on kit that can be added to most RO systems as a final stage. The UV sterilization stage kills the small percentage of viruses, bacteria, and other microorganisms that could potentially remain in the water after the RO process. Though most municipal water systems do an adequate job of removing organic microorganisms, the UV stage is a must if the source water is coming from a well, lake or stream where microorganisms breed, or other residential uses where bacteria is a concern. Tips:
1) Please add some pilotage water to the head of the pump before switch on the pump. It can discharge air out and help accelerate the flow rate of inlet. The closer water inlet pipe and the pump is, the better the effect is.
2) First plug in,then switch on. The max suction height is 23ft and it takes some time before automatic pump on.
3) Impurities are not allowed in the water and there will be a jam if the diameter is more than 1mm.
4) There is a dewatering outlet designed for draining the left water in the machine if it will not be in use for a long term. Water Inlet and outlet need to be sealed up when you connect pipes.
